Artworks - Ceramic / Fibre & Textile / Installation

I love the unfolding process of developing a concept from a point of inspiration to the final stage. I love the discoveries, the happy and unhappy accidents, the problem solving and the feedback from friends and family. Each project is like watching a seed germinate and flourish. It's exciting and exhilarating.

Working with clay brings the delight and immediacy of playing with form, building surface texture and decoration, and the wonderful discoveries from firing.

My work with fibre and textiles ranges from utilitarian to experimental. Eco-dyed textiles provides such wonder and beauty in the final unbundling.

Installation offers a broader platform for playing with ideas - an opportunity to express multi-layered and more complex themes and ideas using multiple materials, mediums and media.

Each of these aspects of
my practise is endlessly fascinating and open to infinite possibilities. I love getting lost in the process.
