I've finally put together a selection of workshops you may be interested in doing. They start at the end of July and run through to November.

Printing, Dyeing, Reusing, Stitching

Sat. 28th & Sun. 29th July
9am - 4pm both days

An exploration of printing & dyeing with eucalyptus leaves, reusing existing materials & creative stitching. Discover the simplicity and beauty in printing and dyeing fabrics using eucalyptus leaves, be inventive through the reuse of existing fabric items and express your creativity in stitch.

Note - 2 x one-day workshops also available through Tuggerah Lakes Kincumber Community College - tlcc.nsw.edu.au

Jeans Transformation

Thursdays
23rd & 30th August
7pm - 9:30pm

Ever imagined your jeans as a bag? Be introduced to the idea of reusing pre-loved items and learn to innovatively create a stylish bag from pre-loved jeans.

Crochet a Wire Bracelet

Monday 5th November 9:30am-2pm

Loop the loop with wire, a crochet hook and glass beads to create a beautiful crocheted wire bracelet for yourself or as a gift for someone special.

Create an Advent Calendar

Thursdays 1st, 8th & 15th November 7pm-9pm

The festive season is around the corner, time to stretch your imagination and think outside the square! Use found objects, fabric off- cuts and bits & pieces to create a funky, very personal Advent Calendar.

Yesterday I had the great fortune of being introduced by a friend to a new shop in Surry Hills - smallspaces. Sarah O'Neill's relatively small shop has a beautiful collection of simple, elegant & very special pieces.

Some of the wonderful things that caught my eye include washable, reusable paper bags, some stunning, large handcrafted ceramic pieces & soft stools made from old Kanthas.

I was lucky enough to have some textile items with me & she purchased a couple of eucalyptus & metal dyed fabric runners.
